Custom Domains
Using Your Own Domain
Connect a custom domain to replace the default .fastmode.ai subdomain.
Adding a Custom Domain
- Go to Settings in your dashboard
- Scroll to Custom Domain
- Enter your domain (e.g.,
www.example.com) - Click Add Domain
DNS Configuration
Add a CNAME record at your domain registrar:

For apex domains (example.com without www), you may need an A record or ALIAS record depending on your provider.
SSL Certificate
Fast Mode automatically provisions a free SSL certificate for your domain. This may take a few minutes after DNS propagates.
Verification
After adding DNS records:
- Wait for DNS propagation (up to 48 hours, usually minutes)
- Fast Mode will show "Active" when the domain is connected
- Visit your domain to confirm it's working
Troubleshooting
- Domain not connecting? — Check DNS records are correct
- SSL errors? — Wait for certificate provisioning
- Shows wrong site? — Clear browser cache
